The 7th Nigeria International Agriculture Expo (NIAEXPO 2025) is set to bring together the entire agribusiness value chain. Scheduled for August 26–28, 2025 at Abuja’s Trade & Convention Centre, this flagship event will showcase innovations from upstream production through downstream distribution and provide a meaningful platform for entrepreneurs.

A Hub for Innovation and Global Exchange

NIAEXPO 2025 stands poised to highlight breakthrough technologies, sustainable solutions, and value-added agricultural practices. Moreover, it offers B2B and B2C matchmaking opportunities—ideal for exhibitors, investors, and entrepreneurs to connect with clients and suppliers.

This year’s edition also promises international reach, with 2024’s expo attracting visitors from over 10 countries including Russia, India, and the U.S. Therefore, attendees can expect broader networks and expanded export opportunities.

Women, Youth, and MSMEs in the NIAEXPO Spotlight

Promoting inclusion lies at the heart of NIAEXPO 2025. The event will introduce a Women Entrepreneurship Hub featuring sessions on product registration, branding, packaging, and access to markets. In addition, the expo will host a Farmers’ Day to celebrate smallholder farmers and offer hands-on training in productivity skills.

During this time, innovators working with crops like broccoli, moringa, and underutilized plants will gain visibility and support. Furthermore, major talks on agroecology, finance, organic farming, and livestock management will give attendees practical tools to scale their businesses.

Why Smartpreneurs Should Attend NIAEXPO

First, the expo provides an unmatched opportunity to meet investors, technical experts, and potential business partners. These connections often translate to collaborations or funding for startups and MSMEs.

Second, you gain first-hand exposure to emerging agricultural methods, including mechanization, digital platforms, and sustainable inputs. Uganda-based entrepreneurs and beyond can learn what works locally and adapt these strategies.

Lastly, NIAEXPO offers practical skill-building through workshops and masterclasses. These sessions can help you navigate complex value chains—from farm to processor to market.

Attend strategic forums such as B2B deals, breakout workshops, and policy panels. Use tools like matchmaking lounges to book meetings with buyers and collaborators. Finally, follow-up consistently after the event to turn introductions into real opportunities.
