Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) across Nigeria are competing for ₦5 million in the Afri Invoice Reward Initiative, a campaign launched to recognise innovation, customer loyalty, and entrepreneurship in the country’s digital business space.

Afri Invoice, Nigeria’s first cloud-based e-invoicing and payment platform, launched the programme to celebrate its second anniversary and showcase its progress in driving innovation, regulatory compliance, and business digitisation.

The campaign runs until 1 December 2025 and offers cash prizes, business tools, and tech products aimed at boosting productivity for business owners. Winners will be announced on 3 June 2026 at an event marking Afri Invoice’s two years of supporting entrepreneurs and pushing digital change.

Mark Odenore, founder and CEO of Afri Invoice, said the platform was built to tackle one of the biggest problems facing African entrepreneurs: slow and inefficient payment systems.

“Two years ago, we set out to solve one of the biggest issues facing African entrepreneurs: slow payments and inefficient invoicing. Today, we celebrate not just our anniversary but also the thousands of businesses that have grown with us and the future of digital commerce across the continent,” Odenore said.

He described the reward campaign as both a celebration and a reminder of Afri Invoice’s mission to support small businesses. “Afri Invoice believes that when businesses thrive, communities flourish. That is why we continue to invest in innovation, education, and outreach, ensuring that every entrepreneur, regardless of size or sector, has the tools to succeed in the digital economy,” he added.

Since launching, Afri Invoice has grown from a software provider into a trusted partner for business growth. By offering digital invoicing and analytics tools, the platform helps entrepreneurs improve cash flow, make smarter business decisions, and stay compliant, three essentials for survival and expansion in Nigeria’s competitive market.

With this latest initiative, Afri Invoice hopes to push more Nigerian SMEs towards digital tools that simplify operations and speed up growth, positioning technology as a key driver of Africa’s next wave of enterprise development.
