The Box Free Academy, South Africa has partnered with Startweb Africa to build 26 free websites for participants in the incubation program sponsored by Making Us Youth Organization (MUYO).
The 12-month incubation program started in April 2022, is sponsored by the Making Us Youth Organization (MUYO) and runs in partnership with Boxfree Academy.
Courtesy of this partnership, Startweb Africa will be building websites for all of the 26 participants, to be completed and handed over before the program ends in March 2023.
Expressing his optimism about the partnership and how the participants are the ultimate beneficiaries, Founder of Box free Academy, Tiisetso Zane Mathodlana said “The partnership will bring our young African entrepreneurs closer to the rest of the world through the digital presence (websites), and also improve the way they conduct their businesses through the payment features on the website. We are glad to have the Making Us Youth Organization as a financial partner on the project”.
In this partnership, Startweb Africa will also become the e-commerce training partner. Startweb Africa has a mission of equipping 10 million African youth with the skills necessary to prosper in the digital world, and this partnership aligns with the goal.
With millions of individuals starting new side hustles and almost 50% of consumers now shopping online, there has never been a more critical time for entrepreneurs to set up attractive digital storefronts. This partnership will arm the participants of the incubation program with completed websites and set them up to benefit from the massive trend toward e-commerce.
