This initiative powered by DO Take Action with support from the Chevening Alumni Programme Fund (CAPF) and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is here to equip Women-Owned and Women-Led Businesses (WOLBs) with the tools, training, and mentorship needed to access public and private sector contracts.

Who Can Apply?
This program is free and designed for:
- Women-owned or women-led businesses in Kano or Rivers
- Businesses that are informal or still in the early stages
- Women entrepreneurs who are committed to attending all sessions
- Those willing to formalise their business as part of the growth journey
No financial requirements! Even if your business is just starting out or running on limited funds, you’re welcome to apply.
What Counts as a Women-Owned or Women-Led Business?
You’re eligible if:
You’re a woman that owns at least 51% of the business OR owns at least 20% and hold key leadership positions (like CEO, COO) AND Businesses with 30% or more female representation on the board get priority
