Owing to the disruption caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has announced a $100 million support grants for small businesses to be made available in cash grants and ad credits to help during this challenging time.

Announcing via his Facebook page, Mark said, “The coronavirus outbreak isn’t just a major health crisis — it’s also a large economic disruption leading to people losing their jobs and making it harder to take care of their families. We’ve heard that a little financial support can go a long way, so today Facebook is launching a program to help communities and small businesses recover from this situation.”

The $100 million funds will be made available to 30,000 businesses in over 30 countries where Facebook operates. According to Facebook, application will begin in the coming weeks, meanwhile you can click HERE to sign-up so as to receive updates when the application commences.
