How I started out in the media business to building a TV channel- Femi Ogundoro

Femi Ogundoro is a mentor, serial industrialist, marketing consultant, blue ocean advocate
and strategist. With over fifteen years experience in the media industry, he has navigated different stages of television productions.

From being an actor on popular TV series such as ‘Super Story’ and ‘Everyday People’ to being Assistant Director on major television shows such as ‘Dragon’s Den’, he now runs five thriving businesses amongst which are Maxima Integrated Media and Maxima Productions, Views Channel – a 24 hour TV platform for millenials, and Foodbay TV, Africa’s first dedicated food TV platform.

In this session, Femi shares how he started his media company, his concerns at the initial stage of setting up his TV channel, Views, the lessons learnt so far, what keeps him going as an entrepreneur and his advice to people considering entrepreneurship in media.
