The Orange Corners Incubation Programme 2023 is currently open for applications, with the aim of developing and strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Nigeria.

The programme offers young entrepreneurs a six-month incubation programme, providing them with the necessary opportunities, skills, and access to markets to become successful entrepreneurs. The initiative is a collaboration between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and a local service provider. Its primary goal is to enable Nigerian youths to develop their business concepts, bridging the gap between innovative entrepreneurs and the private sector. By doing so, it offers great benefits to all parties involved.

Through the Orange Corners programme, aspiring entrepreneurs can expect to benefit from collective and individual workshops on the stages of creating social enterprises, coaching and mentoring in soft skills, advisory board support, professional networking events, and reduced costs for incubator space.

There are no participation fees for the programme as It is funded by scholarships from the government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and private partners.

To be eligible, applicants must be between 18-35 years old, have a validated innovative business concept that is no more than two years old, and the product or service must respond to a local challenge in Nigeria and relate to the Sustainable Development Goals. Budding entrepreneurs will be selected based on innovativeness, feasibility, social impact, clarity of market, sustainability and scalability of the business idea, and the competence of the entrepreneur or team.

The application process consists of filling in all required fields in the online application form and submitting it. The top 50 semi-finalists will be invited to participate in a compulsory two-day-long bootcamp, where a jury will decide who is best placed to join the incubation programme. At the end of the bootcamp, 20 young entrepreneurs will be selected to participate for six months.

Deadline is June 17,2023
