The Young Futures Funding Challenge 2025 is now accepting applications from nonprofits working at the crossroads of AI, youth wellbeing, learning, creativity, and mental health.
The funding round supports organisations developing innovative programs that help teens and preteens engage with generative AI in safe, critical, and creative ways.
Selected organisations will receive grants between $25,000 and $100,000, with a total funding pool of up to $1 million for this round.

Focus Themes
Applicants should build solutions around one or more of these four areas:
- Youth-Powered AI: teens building, remixing, or challenging AI tools.
- AI in Learning, Work & Creativity: Helping young people use AI without losing originality.
- AI in Relationships & Mental Health: supporting youth navigating AI companionship or mental health tools.
- Intergenerational Guidance: empowering adults to support young people in digital and AI spaces.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants include registered nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status or fiscally sponsored projects under that status. Collaborative proposals are welcome. Projects must be co-designed or co-led with young people and aim for measurable outcomes in youth well-being.

- LOI Submission Window: 8–24 October 2025.
- Info Session: 15 October 2025.
- Full Proposal for Invited Finalists: 12 November–1 December 2025.
- Finalists Notified: Early 2026.
