The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has warned Nigerians to disregard messages offering free registration of business names and companies. The CAC stated that such messages are scams and that they would never come from the commission.
In a statement posted on its social media platforms, the CAC urged Nigerians to be vigilant and to report any suspicious messages to the commission.

CAC Registrar General Visits Lagos Office
The Registrar General/CEO of the CAC, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN), recently visited the commission’s Lagos office. During his visit, Magaji interacted with members of staff and entertained their complaints, challenges, and suggestions.
Magaji assured the staff of a prompt response to their concerns and stressed that his visit was an opportunity to hear firsthand about their challenges and experiences on the job.
