Is there money in film making? What are the opportunities for Small and Medium enterprises in the industry? These are some of the questions lined up for Nigerian filmmaker and entrepreneur, Chris Ihidero, on Smartpreneur live session.

Smartpreneur session is a weekly entrepreneurship series. Hosted by Emblue, a new media and marketing communication company, the show provides information from top experts, entrepreneurs, and business coaches to Small Business Owners, Startups, and other entrepreneurs via online and offline channels.

Chris Ihidero, a filmmaker will speak on “The Truth and Lies of making money in the film industry,” on weekly Instagram live to be hosted by media personality, Tallulah Doherty-Adetona on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

With 23 years of experience in the film industry, Ihidero’s session will equip entrepreneurs, prospective entrepreneurs, and content creators with essential information and advice on the best way to venture into the creative space, what to expect, and how to make informed decisions.

Kelvin Orifa, the CEO of Emblue, also expressed his delight at Ihidero’s special session saying, “COVID-19 has affected a lot of things and the movie industry is not left out. With Chris Ihidero’s experience and expertise, we recognize that he is going to do justice to the issues affecting the film industry in Nigeria and how SMEs can tap into its boundless opportunities.”

The Smartpreneur series airs every Saturday on TVC Entertainment at 5:45 PM and Live on Instagram every Tuesday and Thursday at 5 PM.

Through its sessions, Smartpreneur brings entrepreneurs closer to industry leaders in various fields that give insights on how business owners in any sector, especially SMEs, can navigate their businesses for best results. Entrepreneurs are free to ask bugging questions and get informed answers from guest speakers. Advice and tips shared are based on what applies in Nigeria for Nigerians.
