The Fintech Association of Nigeria has scheduled to hold the sixth edition of its flagship programme: Social Meet on Thursday, 12th December 2019 at 12 Glover Road, Ikoyi to be hosted by a member institution of the Association; Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie Law Firm.

The event is a platform for learning, networking, idea sharing and funfair for members of the Association which include organisations in Payments, Lending, Blockchain, Incubation & Acceleration, ICT, Consulting, Startups, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Investment & VCs, Legal, Media, Education and Professional Bodies. It also plays hosts to representatives of government agencies especially the regulators such as Central Bank of Nigeria, Securities & Exchange Commission, SEC, National Insurance Commission, NAICOM, National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, ecosystem enablers such as Nigerian Interbank Settlement Scheme, NIBSS, etc.
This edition of the programme will host Mr. Sam Okojere “Chief Fintech Officer”, Director, Payment System Department, Central Bank of Nigeria in a bid to lay bare the various regulatory policies and licensing regime of the CBN as it affects fintechs. Participants would also get to know the future plans of the apex regulators as far as fintechs are concerned.
There will also be an induction ceremony for new members of the Association at the event.
