As Coronavirus slowed down economic activities and affected people’s livelihood, Softcom has launched a HelpNow.ng to help reduce the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the vulnerable people.
The company helps build software, products, and programs that connect people and businesses. With records of over 2,000,000+ extremely vulnerable people in Lagos State, the company is set to help people to recover from the impact of the pandemic.
The initiative was in collaboration with MTN, Lagos State Government, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Eyowo, SANEF, GTBank, Providus Bank, Future Africa, Qrios, Bank of Industry, John Ashley, Wilddreams and Banwo & Ighodalo.
They will provide regulatory compliance, channels accountability, and transparency needed for the initiative.
According to the company, the effort is to reduce the impact of this pandemic on the vulnerable led by bold, empathy-driven actions. “Together, we can give millions of Lagosians hope and help them get back on their feet. Nothing is too small for someone in need,” Yomi Adedeji, CEO Softcom, said in a note seen by Smartpreneur.
